Una familia de Mexico que emigro asea Estado Unidos en busqueda de un futuro mejor…

In the year 1977 our family decided to migrate and work in California; In the next few years they worked at a local bakery and were taught all about the art of baking traditional Mexican breads and in 1983 the head of the family decided to migrate once again in search of a potential business opportunity. After many prayers and tirelessly searching city after city he came upon an opportunity in the city of Salinas ca… it was an abandoned business with weeds that grew 6 feet tall … he called his wife and asked for her opinion and her response was “if that’s were God wants us to start then that’s where we’ll start”… then in 1984 a lease contract was signed, and Guadalajara Bakery was born. It was a humble beginning; with only a small 6 tray oven, a mixer and a small refrigerator; but what counted most was the willingness to strive every day without giving up. Meanwhile back home, those who were able to work would not spend their paychecks but send them to the bakery to help support the cause of a better future until it was able to support itself… Fortunately it didn’t take long for this investment to flourish and the family was able to move down to Salinas and keep working on the bakery… throughout the years other Guadalajara Bakeries were also opened in neighboring cities and they still remain open to this day.

En 1977 Nuestra Familia tomo la decicion de migrar y trabajar en California; durante los proximos años trabajaron en una panaderia local por donde vivian en la cual pudieron adquerir conocimiento en como practicar el arte de hacer pan Mexicano tradicional. En el año 1983 la cabeza de la familia decidio migrar de nuevo en busqueda de alguna possible oportunidad de abrir una panaderia propia y despues de muchas oraciones y ciudades recoridas en esa busqueda salio un local disponible en la ciudad de Salinas Ca.Era un lugar abandonado con yerbas creciendo hasta 6 pies de alto; le hablo a su esposa para pedirle su opinion y su respuesta fue “si Dios quiere que alli comensemos pues alli comensaremos”… Luego en 1984 se firmo un arrendamiento y Panaderia Guadalajara se inauro. Era un inicio humilde con un refrigerador chico, una mezcladora y un horno donde solamente cabian 6 charolas pero lo mas importante que no falto era la voluntad de luchar todos los dias para superarse; y mientras tanto en casa los que podian trabajar no gastavan las quincenas pero mejor las mandavan para poder apoyar y mejorar a la panaderia hasta que podria mantenerse pro si misma. Afortunadamente no tomo mucho tiempo para que esa inversion floresiera y la familia tuvo la oportunidad de moverse para salinas y seguir trabajando en la panaderia. En el transcourso de los años se han abierto otras Guadalajara Bakery en ciudades vecinos y aun siguen abiertas hasta hoy en dia. Gracias a Dios y nuestros clientes…
